The Lobster Barrel, a seafood restaurant that opened in the mid-1970s and was owned by "The Skipper," Alan Hale from the TV series, "Gilligan’s Island". If he wasn't acting, he was always at the restaurant greeting people, signing autographs, and taking photos. In 1982, Alan Hale no longer participated in ownership of the restaurant, but it remained Alan Hale's Lobster Barrel until it closed its doors in 1990, after being open for fifteen years.
