Goodman's Sandwich Inn

Goodman's, located at 5164 Pearl Road in Cleveland, opened its doors in 1950 and was owned and operated by the Goodman family. Anyone that visited Cleveland, including professional athletes and movie stars, knew about Goodman's Sandwich Inn and its hand-cut corned beef. To the regulars, the corned beef, brisket, and pastrami sandwiches were by far the best in Cleveland. After a successful 62-year run, Dennis Goodman decided to retire, and in 2011, Goodman's would close its doors for good.
