Hollywood Star Lanes

Hollywood Star Lanes opened in 1960 as a 32-lane bowling alley located in Los Angeles, California. The iconic bowling alley was featured in two films: The Big Lebowski and The Big Empty. Hollywood Star Lanes closed in 2002 after the Los Angeles Unified School District seized the land by eminent domain in order to build an elementary school. The site is now home to Kingsley Elementary School.
