Owned by John Petrillose, Johnny's Big Red Grill opened in Ithaca New York in 1919 and became an iconic landmark in Collegetown for over sixty years. For many of those years, the restaurant hosted training meals for various Cornell athletic teams. John Petrillose was also the father of Bob Petrillose, founder of the legendary Hot Truck. Johnny's Big Red Grill closed in 1981. It's iconic sign stayed up for nearly 30 years after the restaurant closed, finally being taken down in 2009 for safety reasons.

90% combed and ring spun cotton, 10% polyester, preshrunk, 4.2 oz., for that super soft feel. Our unisex cut shirts are fitted to give that classic vintage look and will easily become your favorite. If you are unsure of your size we recommend going up one size.
