The Theme Building is a 60-year-old historic landmark in the center of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Completed in 1961, the Theme Building features a UFO-like restaurant suspended from the center of two massive crossed arches of stucco-covered steel. In 1993, the Los Angeles City Council designated the building as a historic-cultural monument.
