Los Arcos Mall 1970s

Los Arcos Mall opened in 1969 and was located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The mall was the sixth fully enclosed mall in the Valley. With Scottsdale Fashion Square just 3 miles North and the opening of Fiesta Mall in the late 1970s, it became too much for Los Arcos to survive the competition. By early 1999, Los Arcos was anchorless and virtually abandoned. The final remaining stores and the mall closed in 1999. By 2002, all structures had been razed. The property is now the home of Skysong, a mixed-use office, retail, residential, and research facility.
