Musicland

Musicland was founded in 1955, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Musicland was a mall based retailer that expanded quickly due to the popularity of malls. By 1997 all Musicland stores had been converted to the Sam Goody Brand. The Musicland Group was purchased by Best Buy in 2001 at the height of Musicland's success. By 2006 Musicland was gone.
