Peaches Records & Tapes

Peaches Records and Tapes was founded in 1975. The first store opened on Hollywood Boulevard, with a second in Atlanta shortly thereafter. With the support of a loyal fan base they would grow to over 40 stores. Peaches was known for its vast selection and selling it's records from wooden crates. Most of their stores were the size of grocery stores. Peaches filed bankrupt in 1981. The last remaining store finally closed in 2001.
