The first Pic ‘N’ Save was opened in 1950 in Culver City, California. Known for it's low-cost bargains and huge savings, Pic 'N' Save grew to more than 150 stores with locations in Southern California and six other states. At one time, Pic 'N' Save was the second-largest closeout retail chain in the United States. In the early 90s, the company changed its name to MacFrugals. The company was bought out in 1997 and by 2002, all stores had been converted into Big Lots. CHECK OUT MORE SPECIALTY STORE TEES
