Steiger's was a department store founded in 1896 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Its flagship store for much of the company's history was in Springfield, Massachusetts. Steiger's was taken over by The May Department Stores in 1994, and the brand ceased to exist. Steiger's was described as the last family-owned chain of department stores in New England.
