Studio 54

Studio 54, a disco nightclub, opened in 1977 and was located in the Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. It was the world’s most famous (and infamous) disco, filled with A-list celebrities. Despite its popularity, Studio 54 was short-lived. It closed in 1980 after the owners were convicted of tax evasion.
