Opened in 1971 on South University, The Bagel Factory was home to the fragel and the I Bake For Jake sticker. Jake played a stringed instrument on the streets of Ann Arbor in the early 1970s. Everyone knew Jake; he played distinct music and wore distinct clothes. The Bagel Factory closed in 1990.
