Thomas Mall

Thomas Mall opened in 1963 and was located in Phoenix, Arizona. When the mall opened, it had 46 stores and a total of eighty at its peak. Thomas Mall was the second fully enclosed mall in the Phoenix area at the time. It had a live monkey and bird display, as well as an aquarium. By the 1980s, Phoenix had fifteen major malls, with Thomas being one of the smaller and more outdated ones it was unable to complete. After a ten-year decline, the mall was closed and demolished in 1994.
