The Story

Tom’s Tavern opened in 1929 in downtown Phoenix, by Tom Higley. The iconic restaurant was purchased by the Bidwill family, owners of the Arizona Cardinals in 2011. They sold it in 2016.
Just shy of its 90th birthday, Tom’s Tavern in downtown Phoenix closed. After 87 years, Tom's Tavern closed for good in 2017.
