U.S. Route 66 Dad Hat

U.S. Route 66 was established on November 11, 1926, and was one of the original highways in the United States Numbered Highway System. It ran from Chicago through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, ending in California, covering a total of 2,448 miles. Route 66 was officially removed from the United States Highway System in 1985 after being replaced by segments of the Interstate Highway.
